本研究は、独居高齢者に焦点をあてて、心の理論と社会参加の関連について検討した。鹿児島県垂水市における垂水研究2017に参加した地域在住高齢者のうち独居者102人を対象とした。調査項目は、心の理論、年齢、性別、認知機能、抑うつ状態、社会参加、外出頻度、毎日の他者との会話の有無とした。心の理論の一次的信念課題はサリーとアン課題とし、同課題に「アンが宝物を移す様子を窓からサリーが見ている」という内容を加え「アンは、戻ってきたサリーがどこを探すと思うか」と質問し、二次的信念課題とした。一次的・二次的信念課題それぞれで、正解と不正解の2群に分けて単変量解析を行い、有意差を認めた項目を独立変数、正解・不正解を従属変数としたロジスティック回帰分析を行った。その結果、二次的信念課題において、社会参加が関連因子として抽出された。独居高齢者において、心の理論を保つために社会参加を支援することの重要性が示唆された。(著者抄録)

<p>The aim of this systematic review and meta-analyses was to calculate the pooled prevalence of sarcopenia based on the Asia Working Group for Sarcopenia (AWGS) criteria among Japanese community-dwelling older adults. Data from 8 studies were used to determine the prevalence of sarcopenia in the overall population and in men; data from 9 studies were used to determine that of women. The pooled prevalence rates of sarcopenia using random-effects models were 9.9% (95% confidence interval [CI], 6.2%-15.4%) overall; 9.8% (95% CI, 6.2%-15.2%) among men; and 10.1% (95% CI, 6.4%-15.5%) among women. These findings would be useful to inform community-based strategies and advanced research addressing sarcopenia prevention.</p>
