    The purpose of this report is to review the activities in the 2003 fiscal year of the Sports Counseling Room of the Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences and to clarify the issues confronting the Sports Counseling Room in the coming fiscal year. The report begins with an overview of the Sports Counseling Room's history and counseling activities as well as some impressions from the counselors. It then proceeds to report the results of its screening of students' mental health and describe the many educational and informative activities it offers students. Backed by this series of findings, the report identifies two three issues for the coming fiscal year, namely 1) the development of a counseling system suited to the University's two-faculty system, 2) understanding various types of counseling topics and preparing equipments for the topics, and 3) the provision of student services aimed at supporting and promoting physical and mental health.
