本研究では,静的キラリティーと動的キラリティーを利用した,ホスト-ゲスト相互 作用によるアミノ酸の光学分割を試みた。マイクロフローリアクターの利用も検討して おり,光学活性化合物のハンドリングだけでなく,新たな合成手法であるマイクロリア クターに関する知見を得た。

本研究では,植物抽出物を用いて安定な金属ナノ粒子を安価かつ簡便な方法で合成す ることができ,さらに,そのナノ粒子表面上に植物抽出物に含まれる機能性成分を集積 化させることで,金属ナノ粒子としての機能性と植物抽出物由来の機能性を合わせ持っ た新規材料として活用することができることを見出した。
