In the second part of this study on the Oecophorid genus Meleonoma Meyrick, eight species are treated. Among them, three species, Meleonoma badia sp. nov., M. obscurior sp. nov., and M. ochrocephala sp. nov., are described as new to science. A new species group, the M. badia-group, is proposed in this study. Additionally, the study presents detailed illustrations of adult specimens, wing venations, and male and female genitalia of all species treated.

Difflugia biwae Kawamura, 1918 has been redescribed. Here, the neotype of D. biwae, which was newly collected from its type locality, Lake Biwa, is designated to the species to clarify its taxonomic status. Morphometric characterization of D. biwae was performed. A statistically significant correlation between body length and shell collar diameter was identified in the population of the Lake Biwa, but this correlation was not significant in the population from the Mulan Lake. The PCA scatterplot indicates that the Mulan Lake population could be a separate taxon identified by shorter protuberance length and body length.

Six Japanese species of the genus Lecithocera Herrich-Schäffer, 1853 (Gelechioidea: Lecithoceridae) are treated: L. chersitis Meyrick, 1918; L. daebuensis Park & Lee, 1999; L. duplicata (Gozmány, 1978); L. tridentata Wu & Liu, 1993; L. fascimaculata sp. nov.; and L. fuscialaris sp. nov.. One species, L. duplicata (Gozmány, 1978), is reported for the first time from Japan. The male and female genitalia, wing venation, and adult appearance are illustrated for all the species.

A long period of ant sampling has been conducted in Biological Education and Research Forest (BERF), Universitas Andalas, West Sumatra, Indonesia by deploying several methods i.e. direct hand collection in rotten logs, at flowering plants and at bird nests, Quadra Protocol for sampling diurnal and nocturnal ground ants and subterranean trap for soil ants. A total of 100 ant species which taxonomically grouped into 41 genera, 15 tribes and eight subfamilies resulted from this study. Myrmicinae became subfamily with the most species recorded (46 species), after the Formicinae with 28 species and Ponerinae with 11 species. On the other hand, the rest subfamilies were represented with less species e.g. Dolichoderinae (6 species), Dorylinae (3 species), Pseudomyrmicinae (3 species), Ectatommine (2 species) and Ambliponinae (1 species). Pheidole was genus with the most species recorded (17 species) followed by Crematogaster (7 species) and Polyrhachis (6 species). Quadra Protocol became the most effective method to record ant species in this study (42 species), subsequently followed by purposive hand collection method (40 species), subterranean trap (10 species), direct collection in rotten logs (8 species), observation at flowering plants (8 species) or collection from within bird nests (4 species). Despite the robustness of inventory produced from this study, it is indicated that BERF area still holds more ant species that are not recorded by research done so far.

The genus Meleonoma comprises 93 species. Wang et al. (2020) divided these into eight species groups. In Japan, nineteen species of this genus have been recorded and they are divided into six species groups, including two new species groups. The revision is divided into three parts. In this part, eight species are reported, of which three species, Meleonoma milichopis sp. nov., M. persimilis sp. nov., M. ryukyuensis sp. nov., are described as new to science, and one species, M. facialis Li & Wang, 2002, is redescribed as new to Japan. The adult specimens, wing venations, male and female genitalia are illustrated in detail.

Abstract　Five species of the genus Meleonoma Meyrick are recorded from Japan. Three new species（Meleonoma
japonica sp. nov., M. ﬂavilineata sp. nov., M. ﬂavifasciana sp. nov.）are described. M. tamraensis Park, 2016 is newly reported from Japan and its female is described for the ﬁrst time. Photos of the adults, wing venation, and male and female genitalia are provided.

The current arthropod pest fauna on avocado plant in Kagoshima prefecture is investigatedin seven places of its production (Hioki City, Ibusuki City, Tarumizu City, Kagoshima City,Minami-satsuma City, Amami City and Setouchi Town) from 2015 to 2019. Status of damage byarthropod pests, one species of Acari, one of Thysanoptera, fifteen of Hemiptera, three ofColeoptera and seven of Lepidoptera are reported. On avocados, Aleurotrachelus anonae(Hemiptera, Aleyrodidae), Parabemisia myricae (Hemiptera, Aleyrodidae), Paradasynusspinosus (Hemiptera, Coreidae) and Homona magnanima (Lepidoptera, Tortricidae) wereconsidered as potential serious pests in Kagoshima. During the course of the study, A. anonaeattack on the plant was reported for the first time in Kagoshima prefecture in 2018.
