2019年10月，鹿児島県湧水町において，植栽後約
半年を経過したスギ（Cryptomeria japonica）幼齢
木の主軸が食害され，その部分から主軸が折れる被
害が発生した。その後の調査で，この被害がアワノ
メイガ（Ostrinia furnacalis ，チョウ目ツトガ科）
によるものであることが明らかになった。本種はト
ウモロコシの重要害虫であり，ソルゴーやアワなど
も加害する（服部・平井 2003）。また，草本類であ
れば，イネ科のほか，タデ科，マメ科，ショウガ科，
アヤメ科，ナス科およびキク科など７科20種の植物
の食害記録がある（吉安 2011；山中 2013）。しかし，
これまでに国内において，本種が木本類を食害する
という知見はない。そこで，今回初確認された本種
のスギ幼齢木への被害の概要について報告した。

Abstract　The genus Meleonoma comprises 93 species. Wang et al.（2020）divided these into eight species groups. In Japan, nineteen species of this genus have been recorded and they are divided into six species groups, including two new species groups. The revision is divided into three parts. In this part, eight species are reported, of which three
species, Meleonoma milichopis sp. nov., M. persimilis sp. nov., M. ryukyuensis sp. nov., are described as new to science, and one species, M. facialis Li & Wang, 2002 , is redescribed as new to Japan. The adult specimens, wing venations, male and female genitalia are illustrated in detail.

Meleonoma属は日本ではあまり知られていなかったが，従来Acryptolechia属として扱われてきたホソオビキマルハキバガM. malacobyrsa （Meyrick, 1921）を含む属で，約25種からなるといわれている（Lvovsky, 2015; Park and Park, 2016）．Acryptolechia属はMeyrick （1921）によって日本から記載されたホソオビキマルハキバガA. malacobyrsa （Meyrick, 1921）を模式種としてLvovsky （2010）が設立したが，その後Meleonoma属のシノニムとされた（Lvovsky, 2015）．本報では上田（2013）においてヘリクロコマルハキバガAcryptolechia sp. 1とされていた種とそれに近縁であると考えられる3種について検討し，3新種および1日本新記録種を見出したため，成虫外見，翅脈，雌雄交尾器を図示し，記載を行った．上田（2013）が記録したウスオビヒメマルハキバガA. sp. 2はMeleonoma属に含まれる未記載種であるが，十分な標本がないため本報では取り扱わなかった．また，従来マルハキバガ科では，Periacma属のスジモンキマルハキバガ（P. delegata Meyrick, 1914）とMelenoma属のホソオビキマルハキバガM. malacobyrsa （Meyrick, 1921）のように和名だけでは属の所属がはっきりとせず和名を混同する問題があった．本報ではMeleonoma属をコマルハキバガ属とし、和名の語尾をコマルハキバガに統一することで，他の近縁属との和名の混同をなくした．
